Through her involvement in the banking, construction, real estate and hospitality sectors, Isabella Vella has accumulated a wealth of experience.

“I started my career in banking, holding both supervisory and lecturing roles,” she says. For over 30 years, she held managerial positions in the construction, real estate and hospitality fields and, for two decades, was director on, owning and operating companies connected to Westin Dragonara Hotel & Resort and The Marriott Hotel & Spa, in St Julians.

“I acted as a NED for a few years for the Malta Communication Authority and as president of The Maltese-Chinese Chamber of Commerce,” Ms Vella explains.

She presently also sits as NED of Main Street Complex plc, VBL plc and Agora plc, while also consulting for owners of some major hospitality projects presently being developed on the Maltese islands in collaboration with renowned international brands.
