Being responsible for the supply chain management and data management teams within Hudson Group, George Amato set up a distribution centre for the Group to service its African clients and its own retail operations on the continent.

Having joined local retail giant Hudson in 2004, he contributed to overhauling the working practices in the supply chain, bringing in efficiencies and cost benefits together with upgrading the use of data and analytics through the introduction of BI.
