Elaine Dutton, PhD, is a Warranted Psychologist, Strategic HR Advisor, Leadership Trainer, and Executive Coach with over 15 years’ experience helping individuals and organisations lead through change and growth.

She is the founder of The Change Agent, a consultancy firm specialised in leadership development and change management, grounded in behavioural science. Launched in 2023, it supports leaders and top executives through leadership assessments, coaching, and training.

In 2025, marking the company’s two-year anniversary, Elaine launched Fractional HR Malta – a sister brand offering flexible, on-demand HR consultancy for businesses ready to scale. This milestone also included the hiring of Stephanie Borg to lead HR operations.

Elaine began her career in public sector consulting before moving into senior HR roles across technology, iGaming, financial services and other industries. Since 2020, she has worked independently with SMEs and senior leadership teams. She often steps in as Fractional Chief People Officer, offering support with restructuring, performance frameworks, leadership development, and talent strategy.

Elaine holds a PhD in Health Psychology from Brunel University and an MSc from University College London. She is certified in both the Leadership Circle Profile™ and Hogan Personality Inventory™, tools she uses to deepen leadership insight and unlock potential.
