With over 25 years of experience in tourism both locally and overseas, Chris Fenech has played a pivotal role in shaping a segment of Malta’s tourism industry. At Malta International Airport, he served as Business Development Manager, spearheading the introduction of new airlines during the crucial pre-low-cost airline era for the islands. Later, as Director for the UK and Ireland at the Malta Tourism Authority, he was instrumental in repositioning the Maltese Islands as a vibrant, youthful destination in the UK market.

A founding member of VenuesBX in 2018, Chris brings expertise in event planning and coordination across diverse destinations, built on decades of experience working for destination management companies since 1997. His deep understanding of the evolving events industry ensures clients receive tailored advice, whether for a one-day event or a complex multi-day programme in Malta or abroad.
