After graduating as a dentist at the University of Malta in 1997, Audrey Camilleri furthered her studies at the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Paediatric Dentistry. She worked at the Edinburgh Dental Institute and obtained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Having been the representative of the Dental Association of Malta as the EU/International Liaison Officer for the past 12 years, Dr Camilleri regularly attends meetings of the Council of European Dentists that represents over 340,000 dentists across Europe.

“As a paediatric dentist, my practice philosophy involves providing compassionate, quality care that is unique to each child in a fun and welcoming environment.

“Providing excellent dental care for children from infancy through to adolescence, including those with special needs, I enable my patients to attain and maintain optimum oral health throughout their lifetime,” Dr Camilleri explains.

One of her special fields of interest is trauma to anterior teeth and, in fact, she stresses the importance of early visits to a dentist following an accident that involves damage to the teeth.

Camilleri Dental Medical Clinic is one of Malta’s longest standing groups of family practices. Established in 1960, it evolved into one of the country’s leading private specialist dental practices and prides itself in maintaining high standards of work in a fully modernised environment.
