Anton Sevasta, CEO of Identity Malta, joined the state agency's senior management team in 2013 as Chief Information Officer, fulfilling a pivotal role in the setting up of the agency.

Identity Malta, established in 2013, is responsible for citizens’ identity management and the implementation of migration processes.

In his role as CIO, he spearheaded Malta’s Identity Card mass roll-out and upgraded the Government’s identity management software.

As Identity Malta’s Chief Executive Officer, he strengthened the organisation’s internal setup and re-engineered existing work practices in the execution of a quality public service with a strong approach to digitalisation.

Mr Sevasta holds a Master’s degree in Business and Information Technology, and previously worked as a lecturer at MCAST.
