Alistair Schembri joined Vistra (Malta) Limited in June 2010 as the company's in-house lawyer, and was promoted to Director in 2011 and Deputy Managing Director in 2016.

Currently, he holds the position of Country Managing Director and is primarily responsible for managing the Malta office and implementing a strategic plan that focusses on growth within the private wealth sector.

He is also responsible for key multi-national clients and business introducers, as well as developing new products and service lines for the Malta office.

He graduated from a Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in 2009 and was admitted to the Bar in 2010.

Dr Schembri is a member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates, the Malta Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, and is fluent in Maltese, English, and Italian.
