Vox City is expanding its walking tour offering to Malta from July of this year, it has announced.

The international company’s walking tours will allow visitors to “explore Malta’s impressive selection of historic sites and cultural gems along with breathtaking coastal views”.

Vox says its City Walks concept brings a “whole new type of walking tour”, where expert local hosts provide a hop-on hop-off style touring service on a circuit of routes around cities across Europe.

Using the company’s app-based commentary system, non-English speaking visitors will be provided with a private multilingual audio experience through their own devices.

The system was created to enable travellers to enjoy travelling experiences in a more eco-friendly manner, causing no vehicle pollution or paper waste.

“Carefully planned pedestrian routes off the beaten track, better connect travellers with local life and help reduce the effects of tourism”, VOX claims.

Aside from the upcoming Malta tours, VOX runs guided tours in a variety of locations, from Milan to New York, and from London to Niagara Falls.
