Hudson, credited with introducing Malta to streetwear brand Urban Jungle in the 90s, has announced the launch of a similar concept, aimed for children aged between seven and 15.
Urban Bratz, the company says, provides a variety of high-quality fashion from the world’s most iconic brands including NIKE, Jordan, Converse, Vans, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Timberland, Champion and Crocs.
The first store is open on Level 1, Baystreet, St Julians and offers a variety of sneakers and apparel for the alpha generations. This week, Malta's non-essential retail, including clothing shops, reopened after six weeks as part of Malta's exit from a quasi-lockdown.
Dressing a generation of go-getters, Hudson is positioning Urban Bratz as “the ultimate fashion destination offering the best in lifestyle attire and sneakers for kids and young teens”.
Hudson has had a decidedly busy April, when earlier this month it unveiled a €3.5 million distribution centre in Hal Far, as well as the strategic acquisition by Hudson Holdings Limited, the ultimate parent company of Hudson Group, of Trilogy Limited.
The move concluded on a share-for-share agreement, with Hudson having said:
“Through this combination, Hudson will be able to offer a more complete offering to its loyal customer base. Further, the integration of Trilogy’s team and operations into the Hudson structure will strengthen the Group’s retail operations and improve the service offered to its customers.”
