Throughout 2025 Henley Business School celebrated its 80th Anniversary, with eight decades of shaping leaders, driving innovation, and making a lasting impact on the global stage.

Founded in 1945, on the banks of the River Thames (UK), Henley emerged from Britain’s post-war vision to rebuild society by equipping leaders with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

From its origins as the Staff Administrative College, to becoming a triple-accredited, internationally top-ranked business school, Henley has remained committed to developing leaders who make a difference; driven by purpose, powered by innovation, and inspired by the future.

This commitment is reflected in recent achievements. In the Financial Times 2025 business school rankings for the UK, Henley ranked in the top three for career progression, with an average 51 per cent increase in salary, and maintaining first place for overall satisfaction with the Executive MBA programme. On the same rankings, Henley Business School also achieved the status of most improved UK business school, climbing to eighth place globally for the quality and experience of its student body.

Henley is not just continuously climbing the ranks but is also demonstrating strong leadership in sustainability. Proof of Henley’s commitment to future-focused development and innovation is its performance in the Corporate Knights Better World MBA 2025 ranking. Henley rose an impressive 27 places in just one year, to 17th place globally, earning recognition as the most improved business school in the UK and the second most improved globally.

Henley’s rise reflects both deep integration of sustainability themes throughout its Executive MBA and a growing number of graduates going into impact-driven roles. By embedding environmental, social, and governance issues into its core teaching, Henley is equipping future leaders not just to talk about sustainability, but to act on it.
