Forbes Travel Guide announced its 2025 Star Awards, granting The Phoenicia Malta a new Four-Star rating and showcasing it among other honorees.

Forbes Travel Guide, the original creator of the Five-Star rating system, independently assesses luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and cruises through anonymous inspections. Their evaluators visit each property for at least two nights, rating based on up to 900 objective criteria, with a strong emphasis on service quality over aesthetics.

Ratings cannot be bought, ensuring all recognitions are earned through a rigorous, unbiased process. A Five-Star rating signifies an exceptional, highly personalised experience, while a Four-Star rating highlights properties offering outstanding service and top-tier facilities.

Located at the gateway to Valletta, the hotel is known for its service, landscaped gardens, and dining experiences. Guests can enjoy their spa treatments, the views of the Mediterranean, or unwind by the outdoor pool.
