Idea Academy is organising a free webinar aimed at imparting practical tips on good project management and, particularly, on how to prevent a project from failing.
Big projects fail at an astonishing rate. In fact, a whopping 70 per cent of organisations experience a project failure over one calendar year, according to studies and assessments carried out since the early 90s which have continued to be reviewed and confirmed in recent years.
The toll such failures take is not only financial. Employees, who would have devoted time and effort to complete their share of the work, are often left feeling demoralised.
In this free webinar, project management expert and academic Joseph Mallia will be outlining the most common causes of a project’s failure, how to spot the warning signs and what steps to take next.
He will also hone in on what it takes to plan a successful project and what key ingredients are required to ensure success.
Planning is important; however, one also needs to embrace change. Dr Mallia will explain the differences between the traditional and agile approaches of project management, and what benefits may be reaped.
The webinar, called ‘Why your Project will Fail (or Succeed!): Tips for Success’, will be delivered on 7th July, at 6pm.
