The Convenience Shop has opened another outlet in its franchise at SkyParks Business Centre, close to Malta International Airport.
While the outlet is the 78th store of the fast-growing and hugely popular The Convenience Shop franchise, it is the first under the brand to be operated by Miller Distributors Ltd, a well-known and market-leading group in Malta’s retail industry.
“We are proud and honoured that an established business partner of such stature as Miller Distributors believes in our franchise concept,” said The Convenience Shop CEO, Martin Agius. “At MIA SkyParks, we will continue to make daily life easier for airport staff within the offices and all other potential shoppers who might come to the area to visit McDonald’s, by providing modern convenience in easy proximity of all towns across Malta and Gozo.”
Reflecting the high standards and range of products found throughout The Convenience Shop franchise, MIA SkyParks Convenience will also initially open until 9pm daily, with a long-term goal of opening 24 hours.
“Miller Distributors has a wealth of experience within the retail sector, in particular at Malta International Airport and its surroundings, presently managing more than 36 shops both in Malta and Greece,” added Emma Sullivan, CEO at Miller Group. “Both companies are a perfect fit, as we have a common mission: to offer a supreme service.”
As Malta’s largest food retail chain, The Convenience Shop now has 78 outlets across more than 40 carefully selected locations. Joining the new SkyParks outlet, another is soon to open in Rudolph Street, Sliema, with others planned through the rest of this year.
