Mario Bellizzi has joined the Malta Football Association (MFA) as Director of Commercial, Communications and Marketing.

Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Mr Bellizzi described the new role as “an exciting opportunity to bring together areas I’ve worked in and been passionate about throughout my career; commercial development, marketing, communications, partnerships and sport, now within Maltese football.”

“I’m looking forward to working alongside the team at the association, our partners, clubs and the wider football community, building on the work already being done while exploring new opportunities to grow the game and strengthen how we connect with supporters and stakeholders,” he added.

Before joining the MFA, Mr Bellizzi spent more than four years as Marketing Manager at Motors Inc. His previous experience also includes roles as a Graphic Designer at AtoZ Electronics and Senior Clerk at Bank of Valletta.

Mr Bellizzi is also President of Velocity Esports Racing, where he has been involved for more than six years.
