Tech.mt marked the end of 2025 with its annual end-of-year gathering, bringing together stakeholders from Malta’s technology ecosystem. This year’s event also introduced a preview of the 2026 inMalta Business Missions, including participation in LEAP, London Tech Week, and Web Summit.
Throughout 2025, Tech.mt continued to support sector development through its contribution and participation in a total of 38 local events and 11 active collaborations with industry and education partners.
The organisation provided advisory support to over 100 businesses, while its members’ directory grew to more than 500 companies, with nearly 50 joining this year. In addition, a total of 55 startups and students benefited from the Strategic Partnership Initiative, which continues to build links between emerging talent and industry.
On the international front, through the inMalta initiative, consisting of Tech.mt, Malta Enterprise, MDIA, FinanceMalta and GamingMalta, Tech.mt has led and enabled 58 companies to participate in international events including GITEX Europe, London Tech Week, GITEX Global and Web Summit, strengthening Malta’s position across key technology segments including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, fintech, edtech and VR.
The soft launch of the 2026 inMalta missions offers startups and established businesses in the technology industry an early opportunity to plan ahead.
