N1 Interactive, a gaming operator based in Malta, is one of two unlicensed operators told to cease targeting players in Sweden by the Swedish Gaming Inspectorate.
Along with Curaçao licenced company Direx, N1 Interactive was ordered to halt all activity in the market, accused of a breach of Swedish regulations through its 21 brands.
In both cases, iGB reports, the operators neglected to put controls in place preventing Swedish consumers from registering or depositing on their sites.
These are the latest of 23 prohibition orders issued to offshore sites by the Swedish Gaming Inspectorate, though two have since been rescinded.
