Fine dining restaurant Bahia has announced it will be leaving its home at Corinthia Palace in Balzan as it prepares to embark on a new chapter.
“Parting ways is never easy. At times it happens unexpectedly, and other times, circumstances lead us in a different direction,” the restaurant said.
“For the past 10 years, BAHIA has been committed to creating memorable experiences for our guests. Around our tables, special occasions were celebrated, friendships were strengthened, and business was discussed. Other simply enjoyed time together while having a lovely dinner.”
“This has been the essence of our existence. The desire to reward people with a great experience in return for their time. We were always motivated to ensure our guests left the restaurant as happily as possible.”
Founded by Colin Ciantar, Bahia established itself as one of Malta’s leading restaurants and held a Michelin star for four consecutive years, from 2021 and 2024. The restaurant originally operated from Lija before relocating to Corinthia Palace, where it opened its doors in early 2022.
Bahia’s last service at Corinthia Palace has been scheduled for 17th October and the restaurant said it will share more information about its own future in due course.
