Engineer and Member of Parliament Stanley Zammit has marked a major milestone in his professional journey, celebrating 30 years at Seifert Systems Ltd.

Mr Zammit first joined the company in 1994 as the first Maltese engineer and the 27th employee of Seifert Electronics Malta Ltd., beginning his career as Quality System Coordinator in the assembly facility.

His career highlights, according to a social media post he issued on Thursday (yesterday), include overseeing sheet metal manufacturing at MTM Systems Ltd., managing key accounts for Seifert Malta, and leading the migration of the Purchasing Department to Malta.

Mr Zammit later headed the Purchasing and Logistics departments, and eventually the entire Malta operations of Seifert MTM Systems Ltd.

Today, he is responsible for sourcing, purchasing and logistics at Seifert Systems Ltd., and is currently spearheading the company’s Industry 4.0 transformation and process optimisation efforts at its SMART factory, which now employs nearly 500 people.

Reflecting on his journey, Mr Zammit said the past three decades have brought technical challenges, innovation cycles and shifting market demands. However, each phase brought with it new opportunities for growth and reinvention.
