The St James Eye Clinic is inviting the public to submit nominees to undergo free cataract surgery at the Birkirkara-based location.

In a statement posted to Facebook, St James Eye Clinic said it wants to help someone suffering from a cataract condition to achieve clear vision this Christmas.

“You can help us find this person,” it said.

"To nominate someone, kindly send a Facebook Message to us explaining why this person is deserving of this opportunity, as well as their name and surname and contact details.

The Clinic said that the best suited candidate would be selected by a neutral board comprised of medical professionals after weighing all submissions.
