Samuel Lucas has been appointed Head of Communications at the Office of the Prime Minister, and will take up the role on 7th September 2026.

Mr Lucas holds honours degrees in Law and English. He has seven years of experience in journalism, during which he served as Deputy Head of News at ONE News.

For the past two years, he has also worked within the Communications Office at the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Office of the Prime Minister thanked Edward Montebello for his important work and contribution during his years serving in the role.
