Roderick Micallef has been appointed Chief Projects Officer at Malta's Corinthia Hotels Limited, he announced on Wednesday.
Prior to this new role, he was Vice President of Development in Operations at the company for more than six years.
Mr Micallef has multinational experience at Corinthia Hotels, also working as General Manager at the company’s hotel in Lisbon, as well as Owners Representative in Portugal, serving for more than 10 years across two spells at the former, and almost 14 years at the latter.
His extensive experience also includes serving as the company’s Vice President of Operations and Finance Director, working at each of these two roles for over two years.
Earlier in his career, Mr Micallef also worked as an Accountant at RG Consultancy for almost five years.
The Corinthia brand started out as a restaurant in 1962 which was transformed into the picturesque Corinthia Palace in Attard. Today, the multinational hospitality company has a strong presence across several destinations in Europe, North America and North Africa.
