Technology specialist Roberta Schembri has been appointed Scrum Coordinator at APS Bank plc, she shared on Saturday.
Her new role comes after more than two years at the bank, during which time she served as DevOps and Senior DevOps.
Ms Schembri’s experience also includes five years as Software Developer at German IT consulting firm ITeanova Consult GmbH.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming from MCAST, and says that technology has been her “passion” ever since she started secondary school. As she learned the basics of the field, she repeatedly pushed herself to try and create more than her teachers would tell her to, something that carried her through her education to delve “into deeper knowledge of software programming”. However, she adds that there is still “more to learn and more problems to solve”.
