A local auto repair company based in Qormi is offering to cover car repair costs for a person who has been financially impacted by the pandemic in a bid to carry out a good deed and help them get back to work.

SAIDways Auto Care will be paying for all the parts and labour necessary to get the car going again, saying this will give the lucky person “the opportunity to be able to go to work and commute without any cost for them”.

In a post on Facebook, the company urged its followers to share the post with anyone they know who suffered significant income loss or lost their job due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In such difficult time we have decided to do a good deed to someone!” SAIDways Auto Care said.

“All you need to do is send us a private message with details of why we should choose this person.” The deadline for the offer is 10th March.

The company also called on others to follow their lead in doing a good deed for others in need.

“We hope pay it forward will go viral and people in need will receive more help when they really need it!”
