PKF Malta has recently welcomed two new Associate Partners to its leadership team. The new appointees are Rowen Bonello, a Certified Public Accountant by profession with a practising certificate in auditing, and Dawn Camilleri Abela, also a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor.

Rowen Bonello joined PKF Malta as an intern in 2013, later advancing to audit and non-assurance assistant, during which time he simultaneously acquired the ACCA qualification. With ten years of professional experience at his back, Bonello currently leads and manages a diverse portfolio of audit engagements including insurance companies, investment firms, iGaming companies, as well as governmental entities and NGOs.
He also specialises in internal audit, cost-benefit analysis, business valuations, and financial planning and analysis. He is passionate about staying abreast of new market developments and key business trends.
Dawn Camilleri Abela started her journey with PKF Malta as Deputy Audit Manager in February 2021. A highly accomplished professional, she holds a Master’s in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialisation in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Malta.
Apart from her managerial responsibilities, Ms Camilleri Abela plays an active role in training and mentoring audit staff, cultivating a culture of ongoing learning within the organisation. In her role of overseeing audit assignments, she assumes responsibility for a diverse portfolio, encompassing both local and foreign clients.
Her meticulous approach ensures a thorough examination of financial data, and she consistently delivers valuable insights to stakeholders, fostering a comprehensive understanding of their financial standing.
