The Phoenicia Malta has announced the promotion of Yanica Vella to Reservations Manager, leading the hotel’s reservations department.

The five-star hotel is one of Malta’s iconic landmarks, overlooking the Valletta Grand Harbour, standing at the edge of the capital city's bastions.

Ms Vella was first appointed to the Phoenicia team in 2017, and, discussing her appointment on social media, the hotel says she has shown “dedication and perseverance” in her time there.

Prior to joining the company, she worked as a Senior Reservations Agent at the Preluna Hotel, after studying for a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management at the Institute of Tourism Studies.
