After more than four decades of serving the local community, Peach & Sorrel Wellness Centre has announced that it will be closing permanently on 31st October 2025.
The centre, founded in 1983 by Angèle Stafrace, has long been a fixture in Sliema, offering beauty and wellness treatments to generations of clients. In an open letter, Ms Stafrace described the decision as one taken “after much careful thought and reflection.”
“After so many fulfilling years, and with very mixed emotions, the time has come to make a considered decision about the future. It has not been taken lightly, as it marks the end of a deeply meaningful chapter in our lives, both professionally and personally,” she wrote.
Over its 42-year history, Peach & Sorrel has earned the loyalty of countless clients, many of whom Ms Stafrace acknowledged in her message. “We would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support throughout these years, whether through your loyalty, your kind words, or simply by choosing us time and again."
“We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the beauty therapists and personnel who have been employed with us over the years. Their dedication, professionalism, and care have been central to the success and spirit of Peach & Sorrel, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions.”
Ms Stafrace added that for many, the centre had become more than just a wellness space: “After all these years, many of you have become more than clients; you have become like friends. This chapter is now drawing to a close, but we do so with a full heart and immense pride in all that we have achieved together.”
Ahead of the closure, the centre has advised clients to redeem any Peach & Sorrel vouchers by 30th September 2025, as these will no longer be valid afterwards.
