Żejtun residents have welcomed back a familiar name as Ta’ Ganza has officially reopened in its original location in Triq l-Isqof Emmanuel Galea.
The popular shop, long considered a local landmark – to the point that the surrounding neighbourhood is referred to as “ta’ Ganza” – has returned to business selling toiletries, detergents, personal care products and more.
Earlier this year, a new store called Ganza Extras opened right next door, selling fresh and frozen foods as well as delicatessen items.
Ta’ Ganza also operates two other branches, one in Qormi and another in Marsascala, but the reopening of its Żejtun shop has drawn particular excitement online. A Facebook post announcing the news was met with many positive comments from locals pleased to see the business return to its roots.
