Panta Lesco has changed its name to Panta and unveiled a new logo signifying the change and resilience it displayed throughout the past 60 years surviving and thriving through challenging times, in the words of CEO designate Katrina Attard.
The Group said the change also represents more clearly the young, dynamic and resilient team at Panta today.
“Amid the Covid-19 crisis, we felt we should not shy away from presenting the fresh image of the Group,” Ms Attard said. Panta’s management remains prudently confident the Group will continue to strengthen itself throughout the current crisis and beyond, she added.
“This resilience is not only a Panta phenomenon but, rather, an innate fighting spirit several other Maltese companies have displayed and channelled as fuel for growth to build a local economy that punches well above its weight,” Ms Attard asserted.
Panta’s origins date back to 1960 when Bartholomew Attard opened a shop in Valletta catering for the electrical and plumbing trades, giving birth to Panta Lesco. It moved to its present head office in Msida in 1973.
