Andrew Tabona has been appointed Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity at Moody’s Corporation, the company he has been a part of since 2013.
Mr Tabona made the announcement of his new role through social media on Monday, saying: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Vice President – Cybersecurity at Moody’s Corporation!”
Throughout his experience with the global firm, he has worked in numerous roles, having also served as Vice President of Cybersecurity, Assistant Vice President of Cybersecurity, and also as a Cybersecurity Analyst, among others.
He was also a Technical Support Analyst and Senior Technical Support Analyst in the company’s teams that received multiple awards, such as the TransMIT Recognition Award in 2016 and an individual Excellence in Customer Service Award in 2014.
Prior to his experience at Moody’s Corporation, Mr Tabona also spent more than 15 years at GFI Software in roles such as a Technical Support Manager, Support Escalations Team Lead and a Software Tester.
He also has a wide array of experience in freelance technical writing, as well as being a lecturer at the University of Glasgow, the same university he graduated with a MSc. in Computer Forensics and E-Discovery in 2011.
Moody’s is known for its country ratings service however, Mr Tabona is joining Moody’s Corporation, which provides data, analytical solutions and insights in order to guide decisionmakers to better identify opportunities and manage the risks of doing businesses with others.
