Experienced human resources (HR) professional Moana Farrugia has been named HR Manager at telecommunications company GO plc, she announced on Monday.

Commenting on the news, GO welcomed her onboard, adding that it is “thrilled” to have her working at the company.

She joins following more than 14 years at food and beverage supplier Foster Clark Products Ltd. While she initially started out as an HR Assistant, a position she stayed in for almost seven years, Ms Farrugia gradually worked her way up the ranks to HR Business Partner at the company, staying at the latter for just under two years.

Ms Farrugia describes herself as a “team-oriented” professional, being particularly skilled in attendance management and employee relations.

GO plc is an electronic communications services provider in Malta offering both fixed and mobile telecommunications services, as well as TV, broadband, and other connectivity services. It is the parent company of GO Group, that has a majority stake in BMIT Technologies as well as Cyprus-based fixed and mobile telecommunication services provider Cablenet Communications plc.
