The Westin Dragonara Resort on Thursday announced that Michelle Amato has been appointed to its sales team, focusing on the area of corporate business travel.

She brings a wealth of experience in corporate sales in business travel to the St Julian’s-based resort, having worked with various establishments over her career.

Prior to joining, she focused on the public relations of boutique hotels, her academic studies, as well as her freelance bespoke guiding business. She has many years of experience in business and luxury travel sales from some of Malta's leading hotels including InterContinental Malta and Hilton Malta.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from University of Malta, and has a particular interest in the 19th century decorative arts in Malta. She is also qualified in hotel management and tourist guiding from the Malta Institute of Tourism Studies.

The Westin Dragonara Resort is a five-star hotel in Malta that features 408 rooms and suites which have recently been renovated as part of a €40 million investment. The hotel first opened its doors to the public in 1997 and caters to both business travellers and families by offering a number of amenities in an “enviable beachside position”.
