Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) on Thursday celebrated the 10th anniversary since Antoine Bugeja joined the regulator.

Mr Bugeja first joined as Senior Analyst back in May 2014, and since January 2022 he has served as Senior Manager within the insurance and pensions supervision function.

“Join us in honouring a decade worth of prudential oversight and protection,” the MFSA said in a post to mark the achievement.

It added that throughout his time with the regulator, Mr Bugeja has become an “invaluable part” of the insurance and pensions supervision team.

“Congratulations Antoine, and thank you for your commitment,” the MFSA continued.

The MFSA is Malta’s single financial services regulator. It regulates banking, financial institutions, insurance companies and intermediaries, investment services companies and collective investment schemes, securities markets, recognised investment exchanges, trust management companies, company services providers and pension schemes.

Aside from his work at the MFSA, Mr Bugeja is also a Casual Assistant Lecturer at University of Malta (UM).

He holds a Master of Arts in Financial Services and Bachelor of Commerce in Insurance and Finance, both from UM.
