Fast food lovers in Gozo can rejoice – the island’s only McDonald’s outlet has officially reopened on Thursday (today), after being temporarily closed for over a month for refurbishment works.

Located within the Arkadia Commercial Centre in Victoria, the McDonald’s branch had shut its doors on 5th March to undergo renovations.

First opened in December 1998, the Gozo outlet has long served as a popular destination for locals and tourists alike looking to enjoy a familiar bite while exploring the island.

During its closure, McDonald’s Gozo had promised customers a “fresh new look and improved experience” upon reopening. Teasing the final result on their Instagram story, Mc Donald’s Malta revealed a modernised look for the restaurant.
