Applied Value Group announced on Thursday that it has appointed Martine Cassar, a human rights lawyer by profession, to the position of Director of Social Investments at the company.

Dr Cassar will draw from experience gained over her illustrious career to help the company widen the scope of its social responsibility efforts and initiatives, to also expand into the fields of integration of third country nationals.

Most recently, she was an ambassador to the UNSC Bid within the Government of Malta, and before that, she was Maltese Commissioner for Refugees, leading the agency responsible for determining protection claims raised by asylum seekers in Malta.

The Applied Value Group combines Management Consulting, Private and Public Investments, and Social Responsibility. They have offices in the US, Europe, and China.

Dr Cassar thanked the Company for her appointment, and said she is delighted to be a part of such a fantastic team.
