The Maltese Regional CEO of Aspen Pharma’s MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey) markets, Daniel Vella Friggieri, has been recognised as the company’s ‘Executive of the Year’, the regional office has announced.
Taking to social media, ASPEN Pharma MENAT commented: “We are very happy to announce that our Regional CEO won [the award…] congratulations on this great achievement.”
Celebrating, Mr Vella Friggieri said he was “humbled and honoured” to have received the recognition, and that he was dedicating the award to all the MENAT team, for their daily “trust and resilience.”
He joined Aspen Pharma in 2016 as Managing Director for the company’s Middle East and North Africa markets, before being promoted to his current role three years later.
Prior to that, he gathered a breadth of experience in local and international pharmaceutical companies, including through his time spent at Actavis (now Allergan), where he joined as Company Manager for Malta before working his way up to Regional Director for the North Africa and Levan regions.
