Intralot, the Greece-based lottery and gaming company with Maltese subsidiary Maltco Lotteries, has announced the launch of a new esports product – E*Soccer betting through its U*Bet sportsbook.

Through Intralot, Maltco Lotteries will offer players betting on the electronic football leagues of FIFA20, in which authentic players and their respective teams compete for top prizes at the world’s major sports tournaments.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, a sharp rise in the demand for esports betting has been registered by companies, particularly due to the widespread cancellation or postponement in major sports tournaments.
