Malta Invest 2026, the flagship global investment guide focusing on Malta as an investment destination, was presented during the Annual Heads of Mission Meeting held at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism in Valletta, where copies were distributed to the 174 Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Honorary Consuls gathered for the high-level diplomatic forum.

While the meeting focused on aligning Malta’s foreign policy and national priorities for the year ahead, each Head of Mission was provided with a copy of Malta Invest 2026, a high-profile global publication aimed as a strategic tool in attracting investment towards Malta.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Robert Abela described the annual meeting as a pivotal moment to frame Malta’s diplomatic agenda under the theme “Niżguraw l-Iskop Tagħna” (“Securing Our Purpose”), emphasising the role of Ambassadors in advancing trade, tourism and strategic partnerships amid evolving geopolitical realities.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Ian Borg reflected on Malta’s recent multilateral engagements, including its term on the UN Security Council, its OSCE Chairpersonship, and its Presidency of the Council of Europe, stressing the importance of adaptability and principled diplomacy in today’s complex global landscape.

This year’s edition of Malta Invest is also being distributed across key international cities, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Paris, Geneva, Frankfurt, Zurich and Brussels, in addition to Malta. The global distribution marks a significant milestone at this time of the year, with the guide strategically placed in leading business centres, investment banks, corporate offices, business-focused hotels, private members’ clubs, embassies, First and Business Class airline lounges, and private jet terminals.
