Malta Freeport Terminals, a leading trans-shipment port in the Mediterranean that was privatised back in 2004, has paid tribute to 12 employees who have reached their 25-year mark with the company.
At a specially held event to commend the “25 years of dedicated service with the company”, CEO Alex Montebello paid tribute on behalf of the company for the “valuable input of these staff members, who have witnessed the transformation of the Freeport”.
Indeed, he pointed towards a €320 million strategic investment programme which allowed the company to modernise its infrastructure and machinery.
The employees who reached this significant milestone are: Svetlana Gauci and Joanne Vella, CEO & Directors Department; Adrian Cachia, Finance Department; Victor Busuttil, Edwin Farrugia, Richard Farrugia, Paul Grima, Mauro Pace, Wilfred Sciberras and Jesmond Stivala, Operations Department; Darren Attard, Human Resources Department, and Godfrey Vella, Engineering Department.
