“The Foodbank Lifeline relies solely on support from the community to help those in need while the local Church also provides support structures for the more vulnerable in society.”
Malta Foodbank Lifeline is one of the country’s leading foodbanks, feeding over 80 families and individuals every week, equivalent to providing food to well over 14,000 people annually.
It says the cost of providing foods exceeds €20,000 monthly, together with all the other operating costs necessary to keep the foundation open.
From its Marsaxlokk base, Malta Freeport Terminals is a major maritime transhipment hub in the Mediterranean region, amalgamating the activities of container handling and industrial storage.
