Malta’s medical sector is mourning the passing of leading member of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology profession, Donald Felice.
His death was announced by Malta College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MCOG) and colleague Mark Brincat, with whom, along with George Buttigieg, he founded the college.
Mr Felice is described by the college as “one of the local pioneers in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound,” which also wished condolences to the family.
Mr Brincat described him as a “dear friend,” and “one of the biggest assets to the Department, particularly on matters of strategy, committee work and negotiations.”
One a more personal level, he described Mr Felice as “blessed with an exceptional sense of humour” and wished condolences to his family.
MCOG is a professional association that includes national healthcare professionals working in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
