The Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) has marked its 25th anniversary since its establishment in 2021, during which time it has evolved into a respected professional community dedicated to the provision of effective ad reliable credit information and data.
“This special occasion represents not only the longevity of the association, but more importantly the collective dedication, professionalism, and commitment of our members over the past quarter-century,” said the MACM.
Director General Josef Busuttil said the association will “continue providing effective and efficient credit management services which help Maltese creditors secure sound cash flow and profit.”
As part of its 25th anniversary, MACM will be organising a number of seminars, lectures, and other events.
A flagship Credit Conference will also be held on Thursday 16th April 2026, followed by a networking reception.
“These celebrations are intended not only to honour our history, but also to look ahead to the future, as we continue to support our members, in an evolving economic and regulatory environment.”
Charles Xuereb, MACM President, concluded: “As we celebrate 25 years of MACM, we are reminded that our greatest strength lies in our unity and our shared purpose. The challenges facing credit professionals today are complex and ever-changing, yet our community continues to respond with resilience, integrity, and innovation.
“Over the coming years, MACM will continue to invest in knowledge, technology, and collaboration, so that our members are better equipped to manage risk, safeguard liquidity, and support sustainable economic growth in Malta.”
