Letizia Vella, the culinary force behind Malta’s The Golden Fork and a familiar face from MasterChef Malta, has won the 'Knife for Excellence' award for the second year in a row at the prestigious Best Chef Awards in Milan.
The annual event brings together global culinary leaders to recognise innovation, skill and excellence in the industry.
Chef Vella emphasised the achievement on social media, highlighting the role of her team in delivering consistently high-quality cuisine.
Her international experience includes a two-week stage at Copenhagen’s The Alchemist, where she trained alongside the two-Michelin-star chef Rasmus Munk, who this year took home the “Best Chef” award.
