As the year draws to a close, GasanMamo Insurance extends its sincere thanks to everyone who supported its efforts to make a meaningful difference within the community. Guided by a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, the company continues to place appreciation, collaboration, and long-term impact at the heart of its initiatives.

Over the past year, GasanMamo expanded its international outreach by supporting the establishment of a school in Dukra Village, Ethiopia, and helping three siblings in Bonga build a modest home.

Closer to home, employees actively championed a range of local causes. Through several dress-down days and internal initiatives, staff supported rescued animals by collecting bottles and cans, which were exchanged by the Association for Abandoned Animals for dog food and essential supplies. Employees also took part in blood donation drives organised with the National Blood Donation Centre.

GasanMamo further strengthened the voluntary sector by providing free insurance coverage to numerous non-governmental organisations, including the St Jeanne Antide Foundation, Jacob’s Brew, Hospice Malta, Fondazzjoni Arka, Daughters of the Sacred Heart, St Theresa Home, Angela House, Foodbank Lifeline Foundation, Fondazzjoni Sebħ, and Ċentru Tbexbix – helping these organisations focus on their missions with added peace of mind.

A standout moment of the year was the launch of the GasanMamo P2P Challenge, an endurance fundraising event in support of Hospice Malta and the Children in Need Foundation, which successfully raised over €168,000!

Beyond this, the company contributed to the Ħamrun Ħanin campaign aimed at preventing violence against women, participated in the restoration of Torri l-Abjad, and continued to promote sports and youth development through partnerships with clubs such as Mosta FC, Luxol St Andrews Nursery, Phoenix Handball, and athletes including Haley Bugeja and John Camilleri. GasanMamo also maintained its support for Zibel to help reduce waste across the islands, and for the Joseph Calleja Foundation, which provides essential financial assistance to young people from challenging social backgrounds.

Together, these efforts reflect GasanMamo’s ongoing commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities – locally and internationally – through collective action and shared responsibility.
