Cellebrite, a global leader in digital intelligence and forensic investigation technologies, trusted by law enforcement agencies, governments, and enterprises worldwide, has appointed Micro Technology Consultancy Ltd as its representative in Malta.
To kick-off this partnership, Micro Technology will host two industry events later this month for law enforcement investigators and enterprise cybersecurity leaders.
Cellebrite solutions enable professionals to collect, analyse with AI, and act on digital data, helping uncover critical evidence and accelerate investigations in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
At the core of both events is an interactive, hands-on Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge, specifically designed to replicate real-world investigative scenarios. Participants will engage directly with complex datasets, navigating through layers of digital information to uncover hidden evidence.
Using industry-leading tools, attendees will have the opportunity to apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a practical environment that mirrors the pressures and dynamics of real investigations.
Whether attending as an experienced security professional or an emerging talent in the field, participants will benefit from a unique setting that encourages learning, collaboration, and meaningful interaction with peers and industry experts
The first session, on Wednesday 27th May, is built for investigators and analysts working with public sector agencies. It will cover the practical realities of collecting and reviewing digital evidence as device volumes and encryption continue to complicate casework.
The second session, on Thursday 28th May, is aimed at CISOs and cybersecurity officers from Malta's enterprise sector. The agenda focuses on internal investigations and incident response, including how private sector security teams can apply forensic methods to data theft and insider threats.
"Maltese organisations are dealing with the same digital evidence challenges as agencies and enterprises in much larger markets, but without local access to the platforms used to address them," said Philip Cortis, Director, Micro Technology Consultancy.
"Bringing Cellebrite's technology and expertise into the country, with support delivered from Malta, closes that gap for both our public sector and our enterprise clients."
