The Grand Harbour Marina reported €2.6 million in revenue for the first half of 2026, marginally ahead of the comparative period last year.

The Grand Harbour Marina plc, the company which owns the marina, said in its interim report that this result comes on the back of an increase in superyacht visitors, among other things.

Operating profit for the marina increased to €0.9 million (up from €0.8 million in the first half of 2025), and profit before tax was €0.5 million (2025: €0.4 million). Profit after tax was €0.3 million (2025: €0.2 million).

Grand Harbour Marina plc also owns a 45 per cent equity interest in Marina Yatirim Turizm ve Isletmeleri Sirketi (IC Cesme), a company which owns and operates a marina in Turkey, with the remaining 55 per cent shareholding held by a Turkish group. But the marina in Turkey’s profits were impacted due to a decrease in seaside revenue, attributable to a slowdown in annual contracts, on the back of increasing financing costs, declining boat sales and reduced spending by boat owners caused by a slowdown in the Turkish economy, the Maltese company said.

On a consolidated basis, which includes the group's 45 per cent share of the result of IC Cesme, profit before tax for the period was €0.5 million (down from the 2025 amount of €1.6 million) and profit for the period was €0.3 million (2025: €1.4 million)

"The marina operation delivered a solid performance in the first half of 2026, with revenues firm and operating profitability marginally improved. The group's consolidated result was, however, materially lower than in the comparative period as a consequence of the weaker performance of the group's joint venture in Turkey," it said.
