Even before the pandemic hit, remote working was all the rage. Phrases like ‘distributed teams’ and ‘digital nomad’ have marked the status of remote working as a trend and a cost-cutting initiative for some time.

The other side of the coin, however, sees the very real challenges that come along with remote working – namely, a lack of effective communication and collaboration.

Aiming to heighten a company’s sense of community is Communicating to Win, a new experiential e-learning programme. Whether in senior management or on an operational or cross-functional team, Communicating to Win is geared to trigger reflection, interaction, collaboration and active learning.

In only three hours, co-workers will explore ideas like communicating as a successful team, applying effective leadership, understanding the value of teamwork, and nurturing resilience, a positive attitude and motivation.

Malta’s team-building pioneers, Outdoor Living, have collaborated with StreetHR – experts in human resource management and training – to launch Communicating to Win. And as part of the package, clients will also be given access to Outdoor Living’s virtual reality communication experience.

Outdoor Living’s new virtual reality experience is specifically designed to develop team dynamics at a distance. Players are immersed in virtual reality where they must find clues and work together to navigate the virtual world to save a man who is trapped. Progressing in the game relies on acute observations, real-time collaboration and clear communication. And ultimately, your efficiency as a team, applying agile methodologies, is put to the test.

If you’re after a two-pronged approach to boosting morale and effective collaboration on your team, the experiential e-learning training Communicating to Win will hit the spot. For further information contact Danica Fava on [email protected]
