John Psaila has been re-elected as Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg, the company announced on Monday.

His re-appointment came after a vote amongst partners, and awards him with a new four-year mandate, commencing at the start of June 2022.

Announcing the outcome of the meeting, the company reflected that Mr Psaila served it well through his first mandate, which was marked by sustained growth, despite the challenges of the pandemic.

“I am extremely grateful for the unwavering support of my partners and thank them for their renewed trust. It is a privilege for me to lead a firm like ours and I look forward to the next years with energy and determination,” he commented.

“I am convinced that we are well-equipped to further build on the growth story of the past years and continue to resolutely evolve with agility whilst constantly exceeding our clients’ expectations.”

Deloitte Luxembourg currently numbers 139 partners and 2,300 professionals. The firm has a distinct multidisciplinary approach to professional services, built around the three pillars of Audit & Assurance, Tax and Advisory & Consulting.

Mr Psaila was elected as the firm’s managing partner in October 2017 at the age of 39, after joining Deloitte as a junior in 1995.

Originally from Malta, Mr Psaila is a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Luxemburg Institute of Auditors, and an Authorised Statutory Auditor in Luxembourg.
