APS Bank this week inaugurated a brand new gym at its Head Office in Swatar, exclusively for all staff members.

As health and wellbeing continue to rank highly among workers in this post-pandemic environment, APS Bank confirmed this via feedback gleaned from employee surveys, which led the bank to set up a gym at its Swatar office.

The facility is open daily between 6.00am and 9.00pm, including Sundays, and hosts a range of modern equipment for all types of exercise, including free weights, two benches, a Smith machine, two treadmills, an exercise bicycle, an air walker (stepper) and punch bag.

The gym, which is complemented with a chill-out area and showers, can be booked through an online reservation system that ensures availability in line with health and safety requirements.

Ray Bonnici, Chief People Officer commented, “Investing in our people’s health and wellbeing is important to us. The opening of our gym is yet another wellbeing related benefit the Bank offers, including a Sports and Fitness Activities subsidy, which complements the Bank’s support on mental and social wellbeing.”
