Alicia Vella has been appointed Director of professional services firm Mazars in Malta.

Ms Vella made the announcement on social media on Sunday but started the position in February.

She shared a post saying: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director at Mazars in Malta!”

“I’m proud and excited to be entrusted with this new role,” she said.

“I look forward to continuing my personal development within the firm and contributing to Mazars’ journey in delivering high quality services to our clients,” she added.

She also thanked everyone that supported her throughout her career, both “on a personal and professional level.”

Ms Vella has been part of the company for more than 12 years, having also worked as a Senior Manager prior to her new role as Director.

Prior to joining, she also worked as an Accounts Clerk at Blevins Franks.

Mazars in Malta is professional services firm that specialises in audit, advisory, outsourcing and tax services established in 1998.

Starting as a small firm known as Attard Giglio + Co, Mazars in Malta is now part of the Mazars group “with a presence in over 90 countries and territories”.
