HSBC Malta has launched One Form, which will help new commercial banking customers open an account more quickly and efficiently.

As part of the new more user-friendly experience, HSBC Malta has combined all the necessary documentation and forms required at the account opening stage into a single digital form, which can be signed online.

The key benefits of the procedure will be time saved, a reduction in the number of forms needed to be filled, which will result in less paper being used for the process.

After the bank reviews the potential customer, the One Form will be returned to the customer via email for completion and electric signature.

Once the form is complete and the bank has processed it and completed prerequisite checks, the customer is immediately able to access HSBCnet, the bank’s online banking platform.

Joyce Grech, Head of Commercial Banking at HSBC Malta, said the new process is part of the bank’s effort to enhance the business customer experience, “One Form is another way to make it easier for our customers to do business with us and to cut red tape.”
